David Grossman Homework

I agree with most of David Grossman opinion. I do agree with him that media companies should be responsible for the messages that they are spreading to children. I agree with his ideas about video games can make children believe that the world they are living in is a dark and dangerous place. I also agree that most video games are simulate military warfare, killing people. But I disagree with his ideas about the cigarette smoking, I think it doesn't really related to each other. I don't really get that part, I don't understand why he compared video games with cigarette smoking. Anyway, I agree with most of his opinion and I hope the media companies will think about this problem.

Homework

I think twelve and thirteen year olds shouldn't be able to play any video game they want because there are games that aren't suitable for this ages. For some people, violent games may damage their brains and they will do bad things in the real world just like what they did in those violent games. If the game is about killing people, and they played it too much, then they might kill someone in the real world. Some people just can’t control themselves and hurt other people. In conclusion, I think twelve and thirteen year olds shouldn’t be able to play any video game they want because sometimes they can’t control themselves, and that action will bring a bad resolution to their lives.
